An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a rating scheme that produces an energy rating that reflects the energy efficiency of a building. The ratings range from A tp F, A being the most efficient.

Retrofit Assessments

An official PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment is the first step in the process of carrying out retrofit installation work, in order to understand what measures are required to improve the energy efficiency of your property. A whole house approach is followed for the assessment. This means that the entire property is surveyed and an improvement plan is then devised that will recommend improvement options in staged phases. The condition of the house is very thoroughly assessed and an occupancy survey is also included.

Retrofit Coordination

A Retrofit coordinator is vital for the implementation of the retrofit improvement measures. A level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management is required for this role. A coordinator has to oversee the entire retrofit project and ensure quality standards are achieved in accordance with the guidelines provided.
